If you encounter a situation where there is no audio output, and you find that toggling the key restores the audio, follow the steps outlined below to resolve this issue.
- Identify the Blue/White wire within the Radio Harness connector originating from the PAC module. (Refer to Figure A)
- Carefully remove the Tesa tape to provide additional working space.
- Cut the Blue/White wire, leaving approximately four inches of wire extending from the Radio Harness connector.
- Insulate and disregard the wire segment leading toward the radio (indicated by an X mark in Figure A).
- Using a scrap piece of primary wire, extend the Blue/White wire by approximately eight inches (indicated by a check mark in Figure A).
- Locate the red and black wires labeled Aftermarket Camera Power. (Refer to Figure B)
- Connect the extended wire to the red wire. The red wire is equipped with a female bullet connector. You may either attach a male bullet connector to your scrap wire and connect it, or remove the bullet connector and hardwire the wires together.
- Power on the radio and verify proper functionality.
