To add a camera(s) to a Heigh10+, Horizon10, or Horizon12, follow these steps.
- Connect the camera(s) power and ground wires to the kit's power and ground wires labeled Aftermarket Camera Power. The connectors used on the kit are bullet connectors.
- Connect the yellow RCA jack from the camera(s) to the appropriate camera input on the radio.
- Reverse Cam In: Backup camera. (*)
- Cam 2 In: Left side blindspot camera.
- Cam 3 In: Right side blind-spot camera.
- Cam 4 In: Front camera.
- Navigate to the radio's camera settings and enable the camera(s): Settings / Camera / Camera Setup.
- Select the button labeled None, then select the appropriate camera label.
- Enable the trigger.
If a front camera is selected, exit the menu, then re-enter to ensure Switch to Front Camera after reverse is selected if you prefer the camera to be shown after you shift from reverse.
Note: The side cameras have a Low Speed Override feature, which disables the cameras under 3mph to allow the radio to be viewed instead. If this option is not preferred, disable it.
- Inspect the cameras for functionality. Please note that you must drive over 3mph to inspect the blind spot cameras if the Low Speed Override feature is enabled.
Note: The aftremarket cameras can be viewed while driving if manually selected. This is especially useful for a reverse camera to view a trailer, or the blind-spot camera on the right side to view vehicles in your blind spot. Ensure this feature is legal in your area.
(*) Do not use this input in the Gladiator or Wrangler.
