Sierra / Silverado 2014-2018: Backup camera not working while driving

If you are retaining the factory backup camera, please be aware that this camera has a limitation. GM designed the camera to operate exclusively while the vehicle is in reverse. If you wish to view the camera while driving, such as when monitoring a trailer, it will be necessary to install a Stinger aftermarket backup camera.
