If some of the gauges in the radio are not working, this is caused by the PAC CH1A-SRK module losing partial communication with the vehicle. A temporary fix to get the gauges working again is resetting the module, but there is now a permanent fix for this problem. The module will require an update for this fix.
- Download and install the PAC module update utility tool.
- On the home screen of your PC, double-click the RadioPro icon to open the app.
- Download the Firmware.
- Remove the dash to access the PAC module.
- If you don't have a laptop to perform the update, remove the PAC module and bring it to your PC.
- If you have a laptop to perform the update, unplug the 3-pin power connector from the PAC module.
- Plug in the PAC interface to your PC or laptop using a Micro-B USB cable designed for data. The interface should flash and show Connected in the top left of the app. It should also populate the Product Name, Product Software version, and Product Hardware Version fields. If this doesn’t happen, then the USB cable you are using is not designed for data transfer.
- Click on the Firmware button, and then click on the Select File button. Locate the firmware you downloaded to your Downloads folder and then double-click the file to start the update procedure. Allow the update when prompted.
- When the app prompts Update completed. It is now safe to unplug the PAC module.
- Reconnect the PAC module to the Jeep, and then start the Jeep.
- Press and hold the program button on the PAC module until the LED blinks red, and then release.
- The radio and PAC module will reboot. After the radio loads back up, the gauges should now work 100%. Take note that some gauges require the vehicle to be driven a bit.
